Palacio Real

We visited the royal palace in Madrid. This palace is no longer lived in by the King or his family, but it is used for important banquets and fiestas. 

After the precious palace burnt down this palace was built in its place. Royalty was afraid of this palace burning down as well, so the palace is completely built with stone.

It is 135,000 square metres (1,450,000 sq ft) and has 3,418 rooms. I feel like you could get lost in this place and not be found for weeks.
